We are all really proud of Waimeha-based kaimahi Leigh-leigh Wiremu, Jack Kiore and Jannelle Patterson, who have signed up to study as part of our He Ara Tokai partnership with Massey University. 

Last month, they joined up with more than 100 Te Rau Puawai tauira from across ngā motu in beautiful Whakatāne, as they prepare for the 2023 academic year. 

Te Rau Puawai is an awesome option for anyone interested in studying Māori health, Māori studies, psychology, nursing, rehabilitaion, social work, socal policy or health sciences, Māori health, Māori studies, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, social work, social policy or health sciences

It is one of the most successful academic support programmes in the country and over the past 20 years has supported more than 400 health workers into the Māori mental health workforce.
