Kōanga Kai – Project Lead (six-month contract)

We have good news! Te Kotahi o Te Tauihu Charitable Trust has been selected as a provider of the Kōanga Kai initiative to help whānau set up their own thriving māra kai (garden).

We are looking for a Project Lead for this fixed-term six-month project, which covers all of Te Tauihu. As the project lead, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing and supporting more than 100 whānau develop their māra kai.

Successful applicants will have the following skills:
• able to build robust relationships with whānau, services and external agencies.
• works to deadlines and prides themselves on attention to detail.
• has experience working with whānau.
• has experience in mara kai development.
• has demonstrated ability to secure resources for mara kai at minimal costs.
• can multi-task and prioritise their workload.
• can articulate how they can provide support across the rohe.
• has experience in project management.
• has knowledge of Te Reo me ona Tīkanga.
• is familiar with reporting frameworks.
