Te Kotahi o Te Tauihu Trust and Māori health providers from across the rohe invite you to celebrate Matariki with us at Hiwa, three fun events in Motueka, Whakatū and Wairau.
Hiwa brings together Māori health providers, Māori businesses, local performers and others working to support whānau for some good kai, good times, and whakawhanaungatanga.
Heaps for the tamariki and the whole family – kapa haka, live entertainment, kai stalls, bouncy castles, superheroes, games and giveaways and cooking demonstrations with Kōhatu Kai. Or come and have a kōrero with health professionals, get a check-up and stay on top of your health this winter. There will also be lots of information on support with housing, employment and training.
Tell your whānau, bring the kids – Hei reira!
NOTE! Change in venue at Wairau. Soggy conditions at Seymour Square mean we are moving it to MySpace (Marlborough Youth Trust), Kinross St, Blenheim, 1pm to 6pm. Please use stadium parking or park at Horton Park. Ngā mihi!
NOTE! Change in venue at Whakatū. With rain on the horizon, Hiwa, on THIS SATURDAY in Whakatū, will now be held at our wet weather venue, Broadgreen Intermediate Hall, 193 Nayland Rd. But the rain will not dampen the fun! Come along and join us! On from 10am to 3pm.
