Kairuruku – Te Pātaka (Wairau)

Te Kotahi o Te Tauihu Charitable Trust is looking to appoint a Kairuruku to support the Te Pātaka warehouse in Wairau. This is a fixed-term contract to June 30, 2023.  

This position would suit someone who can work from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday.  

As the Kairuruku, you will be responsible for packaging, co-ordination and receipt of deliveries  as well as warehouse management.

We’re looking for some who:

• can build robust relationships with whānau, services and external agencies

• works to deadlines and prides themselves on attention to detail

• has experience working with whānau

• has the ability to maintain stock control

• has a good understanding of health and safety requirements

• has reasonable computer-based skills

• can multi-task and prioritise their workload

• is reliable

• is familiar with working in a warehouse or factory type setting.

Applicants must have a full clean NZ driver licence.  A forklift licence would be an added advantage.
