Tēnā koe Dean!

This week we welcomed Dean Wilson to the Kotahi team. Dean is our new Kaitūhono-a-mahi in Motueka, helping whānau in Te Tai o Aorere (Tasman) into employment and training. We now have kaitūhono-a-mahi in Wairau, Whakatū and Motueka. If you know of someone who is wanting to change careers, upskill, get work ready or would like support in the workplace, get in touch

Over to you Dean ..,

Ko Te Hoiere te Awa
Ko Te Hoiere te Waka
Ko Kaikaiawaro te Taniwha
Ko Matua Hautere te Tangata
Maranga Mai e Te Iwi Pakohe
Maranga mai e Te Iwi Ngāti Kuia
Kō Wilson tōku ingoa whānau
E noho ana ahau ki Whakatū

Kia ora,
I was born and raised in Taranaki, spent my school years in Palmerston North and at the age of 14 moved with my whānau to Southland and Christchurch and finally arriving in beautiful Whakatū where I have resided ever since.

Growing up alongside my father, Duncan Wilson and close whanaū, I was lucky to observe the early formation and development of the Ngāti Kuia trust and the Te Hora Marae. My passion is to follow in the footsteps of my Dad and also develop a legacy of my own, to be able to help and work with our people.

Apart from being kept active with my two young tamariki, I also enjoy watching my rugby, playing darts, golf and snooker.

I am excited to begin this new journey with Te Kotahi as a Kaitūhono-a-Mahi (work broker) here in Motueka.

Ngā mihi ki a koutou
